Financial Resources

We don’t receive much financial education in the school system in the US. As of 2025, only 29 out of 50 states guarantee a financial literacy class in public K-12 schools. In a 2025 survey, 30% of Americans have less than $500 available for an emergency. The average US household has $21K in credit card debt. Many also have student loan and car loans too.

This is difficult, and we are all struggling. Here are some tools and resources I have used to teach myself about Money and heal my relationship with Money.

·        Book: Money Master the Game: 7 Simple Steps to Financial Freedom by Tony Robbins

·        Book: The Money Book for the Young Fabulous & Broke by Suze Ormon

·        Podcast: Financial Feminist by Her First 100k

·        App: EveryDollar

·        Course: The Abundant AF Babe Academy by Kat Cozadd

·        Also I’ve read tons of articles on doing “buy-nothing” groups and experiences. I love these ideas.

·        Follow on Instagram: @zerowastestore, @zerowasteguide, @davidbach, @thatdebtfreelife, @briankelly, @myfinansis, @lesliehtayne, @rachelrodgersesq, @thatmoneystreetgirl, @fairweatherphd, @your.richbff

I hope these resources help you see a path that leads away from being stressed with money. With a good plan, we can make progress! Being good with money is a life-long practice that develops over time as you learn and grow.

This is my favorite site for money advice. I have learned so much from this woman’s podcast.
