Sustainable September
Sustainability has been one of my passionate pursuits since about 2019. The data shows that in less than 10 years our planet will be hot enough to start killing off many species. It’s so confusing that some people are still denying climate change is a concern. They even have their own data that during the period of the dinosaurs the planet was even hotter than it is now, and everything was fine. But there weren’t humans then? Sigh. I choose to believe that climate change is real and a concern for the planet. Pollution, our compromised food system, and excessive waste have real affects we can see in wildlife and our own lives. I’m excited to share where I am on my Sustainable Journey. It is truly a practice in that many are living much more sustainably than I, and we are all on our own path. Let’s do what we can today with what we have.
